01The service

BagDrop picks up your luggage from a home, hotel, or office in our Calgary coverage area and delivers it to Calgary International Airport (YYC). We meet you curbside at departures at the agreed time and hand your bags back to you.

BagDrop is a ground transport and concierge service. We do not check bags in with your airline. You remain responsible for airline check-in, bag drop, travel documents, and compliance with your airline's rules. We never enter secure or restricted airport areas on your behalf.

02Booking and payment

Bookings are made online at bagdrop.ca and prepaid by credit card. Current prices, service windows, and add-on fees for extra or oversize bags are shown at booking. Every confirmed booking receives a unique booking reference by email.

Hotel-referred bookings are paid by the guest under these same terms. Corporate accounts are invoiced under their separate agreement.

03Cancellations and refunds

• Cancel more than 4 hours before your pickup window: full refund.
• Cancel within 4 hours of your pickup window: 50% refund.
• Cancel after the driver has been dispatched: no refund.

To cancel or change a booking, call us at +1 403 483 5097 with your booking reference. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

04Your responsibilities

• Book with enough buffer ahead of your airline's check-in cut-off. Our service window never overrides airline deadlines.
• Be present, or have an authorized person present, at pickup and at the airport handoff.
• Ensure bags are packed, closed, and ready at the start of your pickup window.
• Confirm at booking that your bags contain no prohibited items (section 5).
• Inspect the numbered seals at handoff before taking custody. Taking custody confirms the seals were intact unless you note otherwise at the handoff.

05Prohibited items

You may not include anything your airline classifies as dangerous goods, or any of the following: firearms and weapons, explosives and fireworks, flammable liquids or gases, illegal substances, live animals, or perishable food.

We also do not accept cash, jewellery, passports and identity documents, or electronics such as laptops in transported bags. Keep those with you. We may refuse or terminate a pickup if we reasonably believe a bag contains prohibited items, and no refund is owed in that case.

06Chain of custody

Every bag is photographed at pickup, weighed, and secured with a consecutively numbered tamper-evident seal. Seal numbers are recorded against your booking reference. Bags travel by direct route to YYC under our no-stop policy, and any deviation is logged with the reason.

07Service windows and guarantee

If we miss your agreed handoff window for reasons within our control, we refund your service fee in full. This guarantee is limited to the service fee. It does not cover missed flights, rebooking costs, accommodation, or other consequential losses, including where the delay is caused by traffic incidents, weather, road closures, airport operations, or your own late readiness at pickup.

08Liability

Our liability for loss of or damage to a bag while in our custody is limited to the lesser of the bag's declared value and CA$500 per bag, unless a higher declared value option was purchased at booking where offered.

Any loss or damage must be identified at the airport handoff, before you take custody, and noted with our operator at that time. We are not liable for pre-existing wear or damage recorded in the pickup photos, for damage to items listed in section 5, or for fragile items not declared at booking.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Alberta law.

09Privacy

We handle your personal information under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. See our privacy policy for what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

10General terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
